We are always open to comments, words of wisdom, encouragement and free parenting advice! You will find our postings separate, coming from each of our perspectives. I wonder how often we match? Hmmm...

"His"When we first set out to create this site, we did so to give our families and friends their own corner on the internet to stay current on our pregnancy. However, as new parents, we quickly realized just how few places actually talked about the pregnancy's impact on both parents, and fewer still with a focus on first time fathers. And so the idea was born to share our experiences into separate ramblings for Monet and I both. A place where we would be free to share our individual unfiltered thoughts, hopes, and concerns as we inch closer and closer to the arrival of our trips.

"Hers"Let me start by saying....I am not a writer. I have lots to say, but I'm not always well versed enough to put it into writing. My husband on the other hand, he's our writer. Eloquent, thoughtful, articulate, and deep. Me? I write the way I talk. So as I write in this blog, I ask that you respect our different writing styles and not judge. It's difficult to take everything from your thoughts and feelings and put it into words on the Internet. And it's even more frightening to share your story...nonfiction, raw truth. You remove that veil of privacy that gives you comfort, and you allow others in. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not going to share all of our business on here. However, I am going to share a deep and personal part of my life that I hid behind for years. And, share a new and personal part of my life that I've never experienced. My husband's point of view and perspective may differ from mine, and that's okay. That's what makes us so unique and it shows what our men go through when we're "going through".
I hope you enjoy! |
